5 Underrated Shows Worth Binge Watching

I'm always coming across people asking for a good show to binge on whether it be someone asking their followers on social media or me being asked directly. I've been known to  have an arsenal of shows up my sleeve after too many days sick in bed with just me, myself, Netflix, and Hulu. I'm really into sci-fi, action, mystery, and drama so here are a few of my favorites:

Quantico (Hulu) - The show follows Alex Perish, played by the gorgeous Priyanka Chopra, and her peers through their FBI training at Quantico and present day where she's being accused of being a terrorist and trying to prove her innocence. If you have a love for crime thrillers this is the show for you. Just when you think the case has been solved, a plot twist is thrown your way. Who can you trust?  Who's side should you be on? This show will send your head spinning through emotions.

Broad City  (Hulu) - Two best friends in their 20's who hate their day jobs are try to survive in NYC while perpetually broke all as they're trying to maintain their almost nonexistent social lives. This show is 85% me and Ashley's lives only slightly exaggerated.  This hilarious sitcom is a development from the web series by Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson who also star in the show. The show is definitely an acquired taste because everyone's sense of humor is different although, seeing that the show is produced by Amy Poehler, that should give you an idea of what to look forward to.

The Returned (Netflix) - In a small town, the dead return and not in a zombie like state. They comeback as if they never left. When you think about it, many of us would be over joyed to have our loved ones back in our lives but what if the wrong people resurrect from the dead? Those capable of unspeakable crimes or out for revenge? Watch and find out.

The 4400 (Netflix) - This kind of follows the same premise as The Returned but these people aren't dead. 4,400 people over the years have gone missing and usually when people seem to disappear into thin air someone always blames aliens. In this case they were right...or were they? This show follows the lives of individuals of different ages, races, and time periods who have returned to Earth in the 2000's and now have to adjust to their new lives along with society. Oh, and did I mention they now have super powers? Will it be utter chaos or peace on Earth? Watch and see how things play out.

Nurse Jackie (Netflix) - This show seems to be hit or miss with the people I've talked to who've also watched it but I believe it's worth giving a try. If you are into realistic dark dramas with a hint of dry humor you'd probably like this show. The show follows Nurse Jackie, the top nurse in her department who has a secret life. Not only has she kept her husband and children a secret from her colleagues for years, she's kept her drug addiction a secret from everyone. It's interesting to watch the life of an addict and how it effects not only their life but the lives of those around them. The way Jackie manages to manipulate the people around her just to get a fix is truly astonishing.
